About the CEDF

Our History
The Canada Equipment Dealers Foundation (CEDF) was founded in 1998, after recognizing a shortage of properly trained dealership employees. The Canada West Equipment Dealers Association established the CEDF to provide educational programs and services for agricultural, industrial, and outdoor power equipment dealers across Canada. The support for the CEDF continues with the creation of the North American Equipment Dealers Association.

The CEDF is operated by a group of volunteer dealers and association staff who coordinate the foundation’s activities. The North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA) appoints a Board of Directors that governs the CEDF.

Since inception, we have raised over $2 million in pledges and commitments for dealership-specific educational programs and scholarships.

The CEDF is a registered charitable foundation established under Revenue Canada guidelines and policy. As such, all donations to the CEDF are eligible to receive a receipt for income tax purposes. All funds that are raised in Canada are allocated for the benefit of Canadian equipment dealers.
